Murphy High School JROTC Completes Junior Achievement High School Heroes Project
On 8 March, the Murphy High School JROTC Military Leadership Academy (Mobile County Schools) completed their Community Service Learning Project via Junior Achievement High School Heroes – iCivics program at Mary B. Austin Elementary School where they taught K-2nd grade about themselves, their families and their community. They taught five different lessons and ate lunch with the kids. They spent countless hours preparing and going over their lesson plans, presentations, and materials to ensure they were prepared and ready. This is just another example of how Alabama JROTC is working in our community and schools. Congratulations to the Murphy High School cadets and instructors for the tremendous leadership and support within the Mobile County community.
